Who is ONYRC?

ONYRC is Alan Abramek, a Polish Communications student at Mercyhurst University. Abramek was born in 1993, and started producing music whilst living in New York in 2010. Before starting ONYRC, Abramek played guitar for a Polish band called X-MISSION, comprised of himself and 3 other friends.

The Music

His music is strongly influenced by Frantz Kafka’s book Metamorphosis. Their policy of writing is very similar, it resembles a dream. The world presented lacks consistent logic, rules, shapes and reality is constantly distorted and shifted into something un-expected, and the passing of time is not clear to the audience. His songs are sometimes disorienting, yet deep and almost trance like. That is where the name ONYRC comes from, the European dream materializing policy of writing which does not have a direct translation into English. His music is very emotionally driven with a unique charge of electronic music and a dubstep twist.
